Welcome from your President Elect, Mr. Edward Jensen
The most exciting real estate and business based event of the year. I hope you decide to take time out of your busy schedules to spend your day with us.
It was my privilege to have been tasked with developing the Forecast Conference and Tradeshow four years ago and to see it grow. We started with an idea, and drew upon the experience of our members to help build the best Real Estate Conference in Canada…which I think we have; it just gets better every year.
This year's event will draw over 1,500 REALTOR® attendees and showcase 150 tradeshow exhibits. We will present over 15 key business learning sessions and will encompass over 150,000 square feet of event space. Well done CREB® team!!
I will also have the privilege of representing the CREB® membership as your president in 2008. This is truly an honour and as such, I will use this opportunity to work with our industry leaders and continue to provide the best Real Estate Services possible to our members.
I am proud of our Board and our industry. I received my real estate license in 1979 and joined a firm called LePage Melton Real Estate, after which I spent a number of years in sales with the RE/MAX organization and broker owned, HomeLife Realty Advisors.
Throughout my career I have enjoyed many successes in sales, management, and ownership; always helping other people meet their dreams and in turn realizing mine.
Today, I am still serving Calgarians with their real estate needs and continue to inspire REALTORS® as the Operating Principal and CEO of Keller Williams Realty South.
Our real estate business is global; it moves faster and is more complex than ever before. We need to be on top of our game so that every client we undertake to assist has a great experience with our service, which is the real goal in, “Value of a REALTOR®” the theme of our 2008 conference.
